Use Windows© Internet Explorer Features in the MLS

The Internet Explorer Browser Menu and Tool Bars as wells as the Tabs that you use when surfing the Web now remain available when you are working in the MLS. This enables you to:

See notifications from your pop-up blocker software. Previously, pop-up blocker messages did not display when an MLS function was blocked. Because your browser features now remain available within the MLS, you can see when a legitimate MLS window is blocked and choose to allow the window to display using your pop-up blocker software.

Access other websites while working in the MLS by opening additional tabs in your browser window (IE7 and higher) or new browser windows (IE6 and higher). The New IE Window button previously in the MLS toolbar has been removed.

Use your browser’s Back and Forward buttons within the MLS. Because the Internet Explorer Back and Forward buttons now remain available, back and forward navigation has been removed from the MLS toolbar.

Notes to Remember!

Colors in the MLS have been enhanced to make objects such as tabs, buttons, menus and modules easier to see. The menu bar and toolbar also have enhanced color effects and brighter icons.

The Print Screen button now displays on the right side of the MLS toolbar. As before, this button can be used to print the MLS page, rather than run reports. "What you see, is what you get." (For "paginated" reports, continue to use the "Reports" toolbar button and select from a wide variety reports available in HTML or PDF formats. Do not use the Internet Explorer Browser print ICON or the Internet Explorer Menu Bar option to "File" "Print.")

Use the Home button in the Menu Bar to return to the MLS Home Page. Do not use the Internet Explorer Home button. Using this button will return to the Internet Explorer Home Page.

Use the Log Off link in the Menu Bar to log off of MLS. Do not use the Internet Explorer Title Bar "X" button or the Internet Explorer Menu Bar option to "File" "Exit."
