New
and improved features, including directions and routing, are at your
fingertips when viewing listings on a map! The Map Listings page has
been redesigned and now includes the following enhancements.
Note!
The order of the
listings on the Results Page may not match the order the listings on
the new Map Display and Map Report. Rapattoni is currently working
to correct this defect.
Find Your Way with
Directions/Routing
You
can now get driving directions when viewing listings on a map and
even plot a route with multiple stops. Routing points can be
selected based on listings, address, or by clicking any point on the
map. You can even quickly select your own home or office address as
a routing point.
Mapped Listings Report
Includes Directions/Routing
Driving directions and routes can be easily printed using the
redesigned Map Report.
See Listing Details
Without Leaving the Map
Hover
over listing icons to see a summary of information about the
listing. Click a listing icon for more details at a glance.
New and Improved Icons
and Tool-tips
Visual enhancements make viewing listings on the street map, aerial,
or hybrid view more convenient.
-
Push pins have been replaced with
new house icons
with
rooftop colors representing listing status.
-
Convenient tool-tips
display basic information when you hover your mouse over icons
on the map.
-
Where two or more listings overlap
on the map, a single click on the new
icon
lets you zoom in to see the individual listing icons at a clear
viewing level.
-
Where properties share the same
geo-codes (e.g. condos, duplexes, and so forth) a new
icon
displays. Hover over the icon for brief information on each
listing or click the icon for more details.
Map Size Increased
The
size of the map on the Map Listings page has increased for easier
and more detailed viewing. In addition, the map expands dynamically
to fit the size of the window. When mapping multiple listings at a
time, the larger map size allows you to more easily use and navigate
the map.
Easy Navigation with
Active Panning
You
can now click on the map and drag your mouse in any direction to
move the map north, south, east, west, and so forth. This improved
navigational feature replaces the directional borders that
previously displayed around the map and provides more precise
control.
Hybrid View Added to the
Map Listings Page
In
addition to the standard street map and aerial view, a new hybrid
view lets you see the aerial view together with elements of the
street map. Just click the desired option on the map to seamlessly
change views.
New Bird's Eye View
*
The
new bird's eye view lets you see a high resolution, low angle
perspective from the north, south, east or west. While the aerial
view shows a portion of the map looking straight down, the bird’s
eye view offers a clearer picture of the landscape at a 45 degree
angle. *Bird's
eye view will be available on most of maps viewed
in CincyMLS, but not all.
If a bird's eye view is available for a location, the
bird's eye view control displays next to the zoom bar.
Add Markers for Any
Landmark or Place
You
can now add markers to the map when viewing listings in the street,
aerial or hybrid views. Simply right-click anywhere on the map and
specify a color and label for the marker. NOTE: Markers can also be
used as routing points.
Overlay Points of
Interest and More
Map
layers let you add additional information to the map, such as
schools, restaurants, parks and more!
Quickly Measure
Distances
You
can now measure any distance on the map in feet or miles. You can
even take measurements on multiple segments, and the software
automatically displays the total of all segments.
