e-Marketing Using Microsoft Outlook

This course gives an overview of Microsoft Outlook 2010 highlighting the capabilities it has to manage, market and communicate to your real estate clients:  Learn how to send, reply, forward, delete and archive your e-mails. How to edit and include images, send attachments and add links to your MLS agent profile or your MLS listings. How to send attachments and how to send e-mails to folders and to add your personal signature.   Learn how to manage your contacts and market with distribution lists.  Find out how you can schedule meetings, set appointments and invite attendees.
Prerequisite:  A basic level of Microsoft Office or Vista operating system experience.  This means that you can use a mouse and are able to save documents.

Ethics: The Measure of Professionalism

Fair Housing: How to Avoid Illegal Steering

The National Association of REALTORS warns agents not to “disclose crime statistics or say a neighborhood is a safe place to live . . . or say anything yourself about the quality of the school.” Why? – to avoid violating the Fair Housing Act “steering” guidelines. But what are agents to do? How do you continue to provide value to clients? In this course real estate agents will have access to additional information and guidance on how to avoid illegal steering and still be able to pprovide valuable resources for their clients. • a brief review of fair housing laws as they relate to prohibiting steering and any related practices associated with steering.
