Membership
A real estate agent is a REALTOR® when he or she becomes a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS®, The Voice for Real Estate, the world’s largest professional trade association. The term REALTOR® is a registered collective membership mark that identifies a real estate professional who is a member of the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® and subscribes to its strict Code of Ethics. To become a REALTOR® member, it is important that your real estate Broker has obtained a Designated REALTOR® membership. In joining the CINCINNATI AREA BOARD of REALTORS®, you automatically become a member of the OHIO ASSOCIATION of REALTORS® and NATIONAL ASSOCIATION of REALTORS®. If your business is related to the Real Estate Industry, but you are not a licensed real estate agent, you could join the CINCINNATI AREA BOARD of REALTORS® as an Affiliate member. Our Affiliate Members may not advertise or promote the fact that they have membership in the Board or that they possess in any form, direct or implied, Board endorsement.
