Submit Applications for CABR’s Leadership Academy by Feb. 6

CABR LAAfter analyzing the results of our popular 2011 – 2016 CABR Leadership Academy, the CABR Past Presidents Advisory Committee is excited to announce plans for our 2017 Leadership Academy! It will begin in February.

Applications from membership need to be submitted by Friday, Feb. 6.

Primary purpose of the Academy…

“…To cultivate future leaders of CABR and surrounding Associations, training participants to become better equipped for leadership roles, including positions as Committee Vice Chairs, Chairs, Board of Directors and Officers…and assist members in OAR/NAR involvement.”

The Academy will consist of five, 3-hour training sessions at the CABR office, as shown below:

Feb. 16, March 9, April 20, May 11, and June 14. All classes are 9:00 a.m. till 12:00 noon, except the June 14 class which will be held from 1:00 to 4:15 p.m. The June 14 class is the highly-popular OAR Industry Update, held at the CABR office.

The Past Presidents Committee will select the top 15-18 applicants for the 2017 Academy (only REALTORS® with 2+ years of membership in a real estate association are eligible to apply).

Application fee is $175, which includes the OAR Industry program.

REALTORS® selected by the Past Presidents Committee to be participants in the 2017 Leadership Academy will be notified by Feb. 10, 2017. Accordingly, the application fee would then be due, payable to CABR by Feb. 15, 2017.
